$79,633 - $86,407 per annum plus 12% superannuation

Coorong District Council is one of South Australia's largest and most diverse regional councils, covering 8,832 square kilometres and located just one hour from Adelaide via the South Eastern Freeway.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Road Construction & Maintenance Team Leader to lead a small civil works crew responsible for the delivery of road construction and maintenance services throughout the district.

About the Role

Reporting to the Works Coordinator Roads, you will:

  • Lead, supervise and support a small civil works team
  • Coordinate daily work activities and resources
  • Deliver road construction and maintenance projects
  • Ensure compliance with WHS requirements
  • Coach and mentor employees
  • Maintain records and operational documentation
  • Promote a positive and productive team culture

 About You

You will be an experienced civil works professional who enjoys leading from the front.

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience in road construction and maintenance
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safety and quality outcomes
  • Ability to coordinate staff, plant and equipment resources
