Project Delivery Officer

Based in Tailem Bend, just over an hour (approx. 95kms) South East of Adelaide’s CBD, our district also includes the key communities of Meningie & Tintinara.

Reporting to the Manager Assets and Capital Projects, you’ll lead the effective delivery of projects within agreed scope, time and budget, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. You will also deliver a diverse portfolio of civil and community infrastructure projects including roads, stormwater, footpaths, CWMS and building assets.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating all stages of project delivery including planning, approvals, research, feasibility, financial control, procurement, community engagement, contractor management.
  • Preparing consultant briefs & develop design scopes.
  • Facilitating internal & external working groups
  • Contributing to asset classification, condition analysis & works program development.
  • Preparing clear & timely project status reports.
  • Providing technical advice on infrastructure renewal and development.
  • Conducting quality inspections in line with standards & WHS legislation.
  • Liaising with the community & stakeholders to support service improvement.

This role suits an experienced Project Officer ready to step up, or a seasoned Project Manager seeking a new challenge in a supportive, positive and community focused organisation.

Local Government or transferrable sector experience would be ideal, & qualifications are preferred but not essential.

What We Offer:

  • Salary range: $101,317 - $109,496 + 12% super based on qualification and experience.
