We are looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic Community Facilities Team Member to help keep our parks, gardens and public spaces looking their best.  If you love working outdoors and take pride in a job well done, this could be the role for you!

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintain community facilities including mowing & maintaining parks, reserves, and public spaces
  • Conducting swimming pool maintenance; including ensuring water quality, safety and cleanliness of the facility
  • Collecting street litter bins
  • Assisting with general asset maintenance across the district
  • Operating plant and machinery in compliance with safety standards and procedures

 

What We’re Looking for

  • Experience with minor and major plant equipment
  • A passion for outdoor work and attention to detail
  • A commitment to high-level customer service
  • Successful completion of aquatic technical operator certification
  • A team player who takes pride in maintaining assets and facilities across the district
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
